Situated
2000m above sea level, on the Georgian Military Highway,
about 120 km north of Tbilisi. The temperatures are
similar to those in the Alps. The place's southerly
location and mild climate assuring good weather
throughout most of the skiing season. Gudauri is an
ideal skiing and snowboarding area for everyone, from
beginners to experts.
Snow
conditions:
The Gudauri mountains
offers great skiing snow conditions from December through end
of April.
Ski-lift
Area:
Skiing areas extended from
2000 to 3000m above the sea level.
The Doppelmayr three- and four- seater
chair lifts get skiers to the elevation of 3,000 m.
Ski
terrain & pists: There
are 8 regular runs. The
difficulties of pists varies from blue, red and black.
Helicopter
ski/Snowboarding:
All Heliski/snowboard runs go between 1,500 m and
4,200 m above sea level.
The vertical difference ranges from 500 to 1,600 m, the
average runs having 800 to 1,200 m. Some runs go through
light forests and across glaciers. The size of the area
is limited only by helicopter flight range and
Heliskiers/snowboarders ability.

lessons and guides:

private ski lessons and guided tours for beginners and advance
skiers by request.
Ski
& snowboard service: Ski
rent will provide guests with modern ski equipment - curving
skies, modern ski-boots and ski sticks.
Rescue
& First Aid:
Ski area is patrolled by
experienced ski rescue team, able in emergency transport you
to the hotel ambulance, where the doctor will provide First
Aid.
Helicopter emergency transportation to the hospital available
as well.
