Arrival in Tbilisi. Hotel
accommodation. Dinner.

| Day 2 |
Breakfast. Tbilisi
sightseeing. Mount Mtatsminda (The Holy mountain) -
architectural and artistic symbol of Tbilisi, with the
church of Father David. Qashveti Church.
Visit the
State Museum of Georgia (reconstructs the history of Georgia from Paleolithic
times up to our days.).
Lunch. After lunch
sightseeing old city Sioni Cathedral(6th-7th c.c),
church of the Virgin, A relic of Christian Georgia, St.
Nino's Cross, is preserved here. Metekhi church (13th
c.) cross-domed, Anchiskhati church one of the most
ancient basilicas. Free time.

| Day 3 |
Tbilisi - Drive to Gareja
semi-desert, where 17 rock-cut monasteries are
located. One of the holiest place of Georgia.
(visiting David Gareja monastery three times is
equivalent to one visit to Jerusalem.) First we visit
Natlismcemli monastery(6th c.). Then walk to Dodos
Rqa monastery (6th c.) and Davitis Lavra monastery(6th
c.). Camp. Full meals.

Davitis lavra, first monastery
created by St. father David in this desert, Udabno
monastery fresco painting (9th-13th cc.). Area
sightseeing. Full meals.

Drive to Telavi the center of
Kacheti region. En route visit Bodbe Monastery, where
is buried St. Nino. Khirsa monastery(6th c.), Nekresi
monastery(4th c.). Accommodation to the private
houses. Full meals.

Excursion to Alaverdi monastery(11th
c), Ikalto Academy(12th c), Shuamta monastery(5th-7th
cc.), Lunch. After lunch return to Tbilisi. En
route visit Martkopi monastery(6th c.). Half meals.

| Day 7 |
Tbilisi - Visit Mtskheta ancient
capital of eastern Georgia, Places to visit Jvari
monastery (6th-7th cc), masterpiece of the early
Medieval Period. Svetitschoveli cathedral(11th c.) One
of the sacred places of Georgia. The Chiton of Our Lord
Jesus Christ is buried within the cathedral. Samtavro
monastery(11th-13th cc), the first Christian king,
Mirian and his wife Nana are buried in the church.
Shiomgvime monastery(6th c.) it is located near Mtskheta
a picturesque place. Lunch. After lunch Drive to
Borjomi, a quiet and beautiful town. En route visit
Zedazeni
monastery, Tsilkani church (4th c) one of the
first Christian church, Well-known by icon of the Virgin
(painted by evangelist Luka on the board from the cradle
of Jesus Christ). and Samtavisi church.
The paintings
in the church are of interest. Borjomi Hotel
accommodation. Full meals.

Drive to Vardzia(12th -13th cc.)
rock-cut complex during of Queen Tamar, which had a
significant role in the political, cultural, educational
and spiritual life of the country. En route visit
Timotesubani church(13th c.), interesting murals, Tsunda
church.and Sapara monastery complex (13th-14th
cc.). Lunch. After lunch drive to
Abastumani. Full meals.

| Day 9 |
Abastumani-Batumi capital of
Ajara. One of the ancient towns of Georgia. A
settlement existed here in the 3rd-2nd cc BC. Ancient
Greeks knew the site as "Bapus". En route visit Ude
hurch, Zarzma monastery, Skhalta monastery. Batumi
hotel accommodation. Half meals.

Batumi city tour. Visit Gonio, (in
this village was buried Holy Apostle St.Matthata.)
lunch. After lunch drive to Kutaisi, one of the oldest
sites in the world, center of western Georgia. En route
visit Shemoqmedi monastery, Martvili church (7th c.) and
Khobi church(13th c.). Kutaisi- Hotel accommodation.
Full meals.

Kutaisi - City tour. Drive to
Racha a beautiful mountainous province. En route
visit Gelati monasteri (12th c) the
complex comprises a monastery, academy and
church. Monumental paintings of are of great
importance.
The mosaic of the Virgin with Child is
the pride of the central church. Nikortsminda
church(11th c.) is famous for it's stone
carvings. Lunch After lunch return to
Kutaisi. Full meals.

Return to Tbilisi. En route visit
Jruchis monastery and Katskhis sveti, Kintsvisi
monastery, Atenis Sioni Half meals.

Tbilisi-Bolnisi-Dmanisi-Tsugrugasheni
