  Georgia is a dreamland with full of contrasts and located at a strategically important crossroad where East meets with West.
  In the same season of the year you may bask in the sun on a sea beach or ski, visit the zone of eternal glaciers or the arid steppes.
   The main mass of the glaciers and many higher peaks are in the Georgian part of the Main Caucasian Range.
   Most of them are higher than the higher peak of the Alps, among them are Mt. Shkhara (5201 m.), Mt. Kazbegi (5047 m.) , the Rustaveli Peak (4960 m.), Mt. Tetnuldi (4852 m.), Mt.Ushba (4695) etc.
   The mountain rivers are rapid and full.
   The lakes are not large but vary in origin (volcanic, karsts, relict, glacier ) and are picturesque, most of them lying high up in the mountains.
   The flora comprises many species of wild-growing plants of the northern countries and the subtropics, the steppes and highlands, plains and seaside areas, sub-Alpine and Alpine meadows, rich in medicinal herbs .
   The animal kingdom is rich and varied. The rivers and lakes abound by different fishes.
   The climate of Georgia is a continental. Winter is mild and warm , summer is relatively hot, Autumn in Georgia is fair and warm everywhere. The coldest month is January.
   Georgia as ancient as a world and here most of histories are becomes as legends and myths.
   Here was found the remainder of the oldest fossil human in West Eurasia.
   First Georgian Union was created in XII century B.C., the glory and brilliancy of Georgian state was clearly depicted in the well-known Hellenic myths about Gold Fleece, some may recall the great Titan Amirani, (the Georgian Prometheus), chained to one of these mountain faces, punished for bringing fire to humanity.
   The Georgian language  is one of the oldest living languages all over the world and it’s  alphabet is among the 14 existing ones throughout the world.
From the first century, Christianity was spread by the Holy Apostles - St. Andrew the First -called and Simon the Canaanite and become as the state religion from 337 A.D., meanwhile  country remains  as most cosmopolitan and multi-religions.

   Georgia is known as a wine homeland . Wine's name itself is of Georgians origin "GVINO".
